National Tourism Foundation Rocks its way to More Than $32,000
Hard Rock Cafe Sponsors 9th Annual ?Rock the Foundation? Event The National Tourism Foundation celebrated nine years of partnership with Hard Rock Cafe when the organization raised more than $32,000 at its annual ?Rock The Foundation? party. The celebration was held on Sunday, Nov. 10, during the 2005 NTA Annual Convention in Los Angeles .
The highly anticipated ?Rock The Foundation? party brought 800-plus NTA members to Hard Rock Cafe at Universal Studios CityWalk to enjoy 70?s & 80?s tunes from the band Bootie Quake. All proceeds raised at the annual event will benefit the existing educational programs developed by the Foundation. These educational programs include college scholarships for students pursuing a career in the travel and tourism industry, internships, Foundation research and research grants.?
